Volunteer

Thanks so much for your interest in volunteering with BFF! We care for many, many cats & kittens on a daily basis and need volunteer help to keep us running consistently and to provide the best care possible. Here are some ways you can help us out:

Feeders, trappers, and fosters wanted!

Our biggest needs are for feeders, trappers, and fosters. For the most part, feeders & trappers need to have a car, and fosters need a spare room. When everyone else is usually asleep, feeders are on the streets where the feral colonies gather, homeless cats roam, and sick and injured cats suffer. They provide the most important elements of survival: food and water. For truly feral cats, trappers go around Boston, trapping cats and bringing them to the vet, tending to medical issues, injuries, and TNR. Interested in becoming a feeder or a trapper? Contact us!

“There’s nothing like the feeling of seeing Boston’s Forgotten Felines waiting for you to bring them their one good meal of the day and to see the lucky friendly ones get taken off the streets and into loving homes.” -FCW Cheryl

Don’t have a car or spare room? Other ways you can help:

  • Hold a cat food drive to help feed all of our cats on the streets & in foster homes
  • Host a fundraiser to benefit BFF (make your own soaps or candles or sell LulaRoe or Pampered Chef? All ideas are welcome!)
  • Share our social media posts of kitties looking for forever homes
  • Talk us up to your friends and family who may want to feed or foster
